Dr. Isaac died in 1943. He was not only a well-respected hospital doctor in the area, but also a doctor for the local school. The Gilligan family moved into the home in 1946.

In 1986, the Gilligans sold the home for $125,000 to the Mercy Catholic Medical Center, although that home was transferred the same year to the Hackman family. In 2005, they sold the home for $160,000.
